Standard track for vertical venetians

HI,

I have some sliding glass doors that open onto the deck. A very popular size of window. They are covered with vertical venetian blinds.

I am looking mainly for the TRACK for the venetian blinds. The track is 74 inches long. It attaches to the wall.

It has two controls. One to pull the blinds from side to side. And another to turn each (all) blinds open or close.

So far everyone tells me that I need a custom made track!!! You don't order windows to a custom size. You buy a standard window size off the shelf.

I am looking for a STANDARD, off the shelf track. Not a custom made one.

Does anyone know of a manufacturer, or supplier that would sell a standard track like this?

What makes you think 74 inches is a standard?

I'd go over to Home Depot or equivalent and buy their cheapest set of blinds. Throw the blinds away and just use the track.

They don't have Walmart in your state?

74 is a custom size. As other have said you can buy a 76' track only at Lowes, maybe HD and even Wal Mart. They won't have the same controls as the custom blind described above, but it should work.Unless the is a reason not to do so, it is proper for a vertical blind to extend past the opening 2-3' on each side. BTW, if you are the original retail purchaser those custom headrails have a lifetime warranty on everything except the string and chain.
