Certainly can - where are you, and what kind of help do you require?

(Oh, and is it paid help you're looking for, or simply advice?)

Best regards

J.

Hey, Thanx for your reply. I live in Belgium. I'm mainly looking for some advice, like what functions should be grouped for optimal circulation, examples of good sports centres, etc. Thank you!

Ok then, perhaps you could outline the functions that the facility is going to fulfill, and any ideas you have at present, and perhaps we can all help (I'll certainly do my best, as I've had some involvement in leisure facilities in the past.

An international designed sportscentre would be nice. I agree with Toastman. Maybe we all can give you any ideas to make it a succes. But try to keep the future in mind, when you design the centre. Don't just look to the sports you performe now, but also what sports will they performe in the future and can you add those possibility's at the same time.

I never designed a sportscenter yet, but it would be nice to participate.

Typically, spaces are evaluated regarding their minimum/maximum requirements, considering all the functions required. They are then grouped to create a layout where those sharing common traits are located adjacent to one other to maximize efficiency. One also works to harmonize circulation patterns, reducing unusable space to utilize every square inch and eliminate redundancy.

What sort of functions do you plan to include in this facility? Knowing your budget and requirements for this building are a necessary step in the process.

From an interior designers viewpoint, interior requirements will dictate what the exterior becomes. However, this is not always the practice. Often interior designers are required to take an existing building and make it work, given the requirements outlined by the client after it is built, rather than before certain aspects are set in stone.
