Some times the obvious and the simple are so obvious and simple that they are looked over and completely missed.
As a mother of 2 young kids (nearly 2 and 3 3/4) I had to laugh when I saw this picture and ask myself how could I have not thought of this obvious solution myself.
This is a photograph from the Dutch Book Vive La Fete, which is written in Dutch, but from what I could make out, the pictures are so great, it doesn’t really matter if you understand the verbal part.
If you have kids, you will need no further explanation, but if not, you know that the fork will no doubt be tossed across the room, the plate will end up on the head, the food will in the better case scenario end up on the table in any case, so this saves a lot of trouble.
Now all I need is the guts to try it
