You’ll have to forgive me, it seems as if I am having an undeclared Italy week.

dressing up down

I love bold design, and the ability to view beauty where it lies even if the first thought that goes through your mind when seeing something, more because of conventionality than anything else is - ugly, or run down.

Not that anything in the above image suggests anything of the sort. But old and well worn is a thought that comes to mind, and I mean that in the best and warmest of ways. I love well designed modern spaces but would live more comfortably in a space like this, that is both beautiful and full of character, as it is warm and livable.

I love the patina looking wall, that looks like an outside wall that has been untreated for a good few years, developing a beautiful patina, that is often overlooked as unkempt (I hope that I am making myself clear, but have a feeling that I might be misinterpreted)

this image, and the rest of the images are of the Italian designers Nella Vitrina

purple and green

The unconventional use of lime green with purple on antique looking furniture is both surprising and delightful, fulling my head with ideas for the piles of unfinished discarded furniture, that I have picked up over time and haven’t been able to decide just how to refinish it.

coloful chairs

I love that these chairs are not uniform in color although they are of the same form. its refreshing and out of the box.

Please go over and browse. This is really only the tip of the ice burg.

I like the write up that you posted. All I can say is that,Setting objects inside your home will give a good attractions on it,but you should also consider some other things like the best materials that will be display inside your home. Aside from that the design needs to be a perfect match to the objects that you prefer to display. You can also consult interior designer like jennifer ramos responded:
I really like those chairs, they are simple. Yet you can paint them and add some NEW UPHOLSTERY…that is inexpensive because its such a small piece of fabric.
