looking for amateur interior design software

Hello,

I am an old-time autocad user, and want to do some interior design for my own home. I can't find any interior designers willing to any actual sketches or drawings of what I want.

I bought 'Home Design 3D' software for $50, but find it utterly useless. It's very akward, and takes FOREVER to refresh. I am not sure what it's good for, but it's not good for renderings. It's good at floor plans, but so what.

Anyway, any suggestions for software that will do a decent job of rendering simple interior designs, ie. walls, furniture, floors and colors?
