I'm not sure if this is the right newsgroup to ask this so please let me know if it's not.

Does anyone know what shades of paint the ceilings, walls, doors, door frames and skirting boards should be? Full strength, half or quarter strength?

Also do Full Gloss paints show up imperfections?

I'd like to achieve a warm feel to the house using a lot of warm colours. Does it look ok to make doors a feature by painting them darker?

Thanks in advance,

Dear Madam, Please note that warm colors r good for hall, lobby, lounge.Go for cool colors for bedroom.u will find peace of mind in cool colors.Go for matt colors only. U will find all mistakes in gloss colors. For doors u can go for dark colors in Matt finish.

Vinay.
