I want to devide my living room to make it multi purpose, part living room, part art room. Its about 12 ft wide. Any Ideas of how I could partition it on a small budget? Max $100

What kind of partition do you prefer? You could build a plaster wall or put a 2 sided cabinet between the 2 spaces. Both may give you 2 separated spaces. If you like to keep the feel of a big open space you can use an open shelf unit or even a high drawing table or a picture hang from the ceiling to make a symbolic separation between the two.
