I have an open space kitchen lounge area, not very big, and I was thinking of painting one of the kitchen walls red (my sofa is red) and one of the lounge walls olive green (I have green details in the sofa pillows) with the other walls in a beige color. Would that be hysterical to look at, or pleasant?

If the space is not very open and big, 2 colored walls may cause a feeling of a small/crowded/messy space. The general idea is good but I think 2 walls in a small space is overdoing it. I may choose the olive green. It will enhance the green details and contrast nicely with the red sofa.
