How do I change colors mid wall without it looking silly? I have one wall that goes from my lounge through to my hallway. I am about to repaint my lounge and don't particularly what to do the hallway, and even if I did, I wouldn't want it to be in the same color as the lounge. So, how can I deal with this?

Have a piece of furniture (like a high cupboard) be the 'border' between two different colors?
