I was looking at buying Dynacad 2-d, 3-d program and would appreciate any advise or comments. They say it replaces AutoCAD at half the price!! Many

Lanze- if you're looking for for an App to replace/take the place of AutoCAD, forget it. Chances are that you are/have used autodesk's products for a while now and are so pleased by the capabilities but not the price....now I'm not a spokesperson for autodesk or anything but I have learned this much - if it claims to be new or improved...it isn't - if it says it can make you're day to day easier..it doesn't, - and if it states that it can 'take the place of..'...it can't. Simply put, if you want an 'ACADmimic', with AutoCAD's 'use-ability', then buy it, it'll more than pay for itself in a few projects.
