Sometimes it takes so little to redo a room and completely giving it a new look. Your new theme could be color or weather, or just one bold new picture on the wall. It doesn’t take much. Coraline from Hidden in France has just done that kind of a makeover in her house - which now seems so incredibly summery - It just calls for lemonade and shorts.

A huge bold turquoise and yellow portrait in the centre of various other likewise colored pictures, with generally light furniture with touches of light blues, turquoise mustard and yellow make all the difference in the world.

An bookless blookshelf, otherwise filled with color and fun adds some extra pizaz and there you have it - a completely new room.

I am getting a bit board with my living room now, which I haven’t changed at all in about 6 months. I have very boldly colored red furniture, with touches of yellow gold and green, and absolutely nothing on the walls, to tone it down a bit, but now, I think I do want something with color on the walls, maybe monotones, to keep the room reasonably quiet, but a little more interesting.

Maybe I sould get a huge 1on 2 meters canvas and do a pistacio green with a bit of gold hanging.

Something like this with more yellows and golds.
