The walls of my office a covered in fabric. I am building a library in my home and thought that fabric covering on the walls would be very nice. However when I go to wallpaper stores they have no idea what I am talking about. I know it exists, because I feel it ever time I turn on the lights in my office.
Obviously, I am not communicating my needs to the salespeople in the wallpaper stores. What should I be asking for?
I want a burgandy jaquard with a silk feel

Did you talk to Professionals from the painters and decorators guild, I mean real craftsmen? They should know about that kind of stuff...

To apply fabric to walls all you need to do is use liquid starch instead of wallpaper paste. Measure your walls for the right amount of fabric. After the strips are cut to size, soak in the starch and apply to the walls. Fabric applied in this manner can easily be removed when you get tired of it. You can also use wood or even styrofoam molding over the top and bottom edges.
