we live in Australia and have exposed beams they are mission brown and we need to lighten the house up we need some help with colour and themes for a room with an open fire. Any sites worth visiting please forward.

One thought I have is to have several of my serpentine style fixtures twisting around your exposed beams.(look at the floorlamp designs) If you are interested Iwould be happy to work up some drawings.
