I am looking to buy a couple of Corbusier/Perriand designed 'Grand Comfort' chairs and see they designed two types. The earlier style is loose fitting and has cushions rapped with feathers and the seat is about 19' off the ground. Their later model is more fitted with less padding, but the seat is about 13' off the ground. Both of these chairs are about the same size about 41' wide, 27' deep and 30' high'.

My question does anyone have any experience with each of these chairs in regards to comfort? That is, sitting in them for several hours.

Well, I have two kinds of chairs in my living room; Marcel Breuer´s Wassily chairs, and LeCorbusier´s 1929´s 'Armchair'... Thay both are really comfortable (I do preffer Breuer´s design for several hours, but they are almost the same thing).

Which 'armchair' are you referring to? The 'frumpy' or 'tight' model?
