i hv a design project about fishermen's wharf in hong kong. i choose bamboo as a material, but i hvn't any idea about bamboo architecture in this moment. anyone can help me? i want to innovative one, not the traditional. thank you very much.

You could innovate with bamboo by using the bamboo as reinforcing in lieu of steel bars, in concrete.

smashed bamboo, run over by trucks, would still be suitable, as the irregular profile increases the surface contact with concrete.

Look into weaving bamboo into egg shape rooms, 3 d shape, and gunite spray applied concrete 4' thick spanning 30'

Look into bamboo- resin as a wood beam material. A canadian company does this with long strands of wood as beams.
