Warner- Congrats on so boldly flaunting your ignorance. Bamboo not only grows like kudzu everywhere in the southeastern U.S. from east TX to FL, but it makes an elegant floor which is tougher than oak and also less expensive. In a few years, I predict that many of the southern landowners who now ridicule bamboo's usefulness will be growing as much as they can, promoting it and acting as though they discovered it.

I'm very impressed. Exactly how are you able to simultaneously stick feet in your mouth AND keep your head up your ass. Perhaps you could also trade some of that excess money for a smattering of intelligence, common sense, literacy, and taste.

Replying to Warner's comment: I cant believe you would write such as thing... 'give it a rest.. this is america... we have money' What makes you so know it all... not insulting you warner, but no america is not a country so full of money, and even if america was, big deal... what does using bamboo furniture do with having money... Bamboo is used in order to express a power of money....it is not used for us to say, ' hey all look at our furniture .. we have money!' LOL.... Bamboo is another type of material used for ITS material.. not for the money aspect... saying a comment such as... look we are america, we have money, only would make americans look bad... bamboo is an art material as well...you say outdated... now thats strange.. why outdated.. it still grows LOL Warner i am not putting you down at all... i just think that what you said is not very logical... thats all..

I ORDERED A SAMPLE OF THE PRODUCT AND FOUND IT TO BE VERY BEAUTIFUL. EVERYONE I SHOWED THE SAMPLES TO WAS IMPRESSED. MOST WOOD IS EASILY CREASED WITH A FINGERNAIL, BUT NOT THIS. I MIGHT USE THIS IN MY NEW HOME, AFTER I INVESTIGATE WHAT CHEMICALS ARE IN THE FACTORY APPLIED SEALER. WHAT I LIKE IS THAT IT IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT BUT APPEARS TO BE GOOD QUALITY. Hey, Warner! Bamboo is one of the toughest natural materials I have found when utilized properly. My vacation home has bamboo flooring, as well as a bamboo fence in a portion of the garden, and makes up the bulk of the garden tea house.

Check out a tameshi-giri demonstration if you doubt bamboo.
