I am researching joint ventures between designers and artists. I have been active in this field, mostly in England for about 20 years. Painting trompe l,oeil murals and faux finishes especially marble. I would be pleased to hear from designers who have worked with artists. How they valued the experience? etc. thanks

Working with artists to create faux or trompe l'oeil finishes can offer resounding success or become extremely costly, in terms of time spent trying to achieve the desired results. Working with talented and capable individuals who honor time schedules, prepare adequate samples and do what they say they will for the price quoted reinforces the desire to utilize their services again.
