I am a very colorful person by nature and by desire, and one would expect, me included, to find my house extremely colorful.
Different colored walls in ever room and on every plain. But no. That is not the case and the only colored wall that I have is the staircase which is in the middle of my downstairs space and its is colored green. A nice mint green.
An artist friend of mine tried to talk me into getting rid of the white and covering everything in color, and although I find the idea very appealing, the thought of committing to color and color combinations for as long as it is you commit to walls was a bit daunting to me, and I couldn’t even begin to think about the colors that I wanted to paint my house with. I much prefer having the base white and light - light floors, white walls, and shots of very bright color here and there, for example my green wall, with the red gumdrop chair against it, or like this room

One could change the cloth recover the chairs or just switch around the plates to refresh and change the look a bit. I don’t know about you but I love constant change and light walls are the ones that allow that the most.
